Runner plans to raise Tk 1,000m from capital market

Runner Automobiles Limited, the pioneer in manufacturing 2 Wheelers in Bangladesh, plans to raise Tk 1,000 million from the capital market subject to regulatory approval, says a press release.  

The company organised a road show on October 19, 2016 as part of the company’s Initial Public Offering (IPO) under book-building method. 
The IPO proceeds will be mostly utilised for development of new models of 2 Wheelers in the range of 110 cc to 150 cc as well as development of existing models. IDLC Investments Limited is working as Manager to the Issue for the IPO, the statement added.
Runner Automobiles, the flagship company of Runner Group, has a manufacturing facility in Bhaluka, Mymensing. 
As on June 30, 2016, the authorised and paid up capital of the company stood at Tk 2,000 million and Tk 942 million respectively.
