17 members of ‘dope gang’ held

Detectives in separate drives arrested 17 members of a ‘dope gang’, who rob people after making them unconscious using sedatives, from different parts in the capital on Wednesday night, reports UNB.
Tipped off, a team of the Detective Branch (DB) of police conducted separate drives in the capital and arrested them, said Deputy Commissioner (Media) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police Masudur Rahman. The identities of the arrestees could not be known yet.
Details of the drives will be revealed at a press briefing later.
