Asia Media Confce kicks off today

An international media conference will be held in the capital tomorrow in an effort to promote ethical reporting during emergencies and crises, and encourage dedication of media space to humanitarian issues, reports UNB.
The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in collaboration with Diplomatic Correspondents Association, Bangladesh (DCAB) will host the daylong event titled ‘Asia Media Conference 2016: Reporting Humanitarian Emergencies and Crises.’ State Minister for Foreign Affairs M Shahriar Alam will inaugurate the conference in a hotel in the capital.
