Council of Sylhet BCL unit held

SYLHET: The council of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) Sylhet city unit was held yesterday on the Central Shaheed Minar premises here, reports BSS. The central committee president of BCL, student wing of ruling Awami League, Baduizzaman Sohag, inaugurated the convention with Sylhet city unit president of BCL Rahat Tarofder was in the chair. Awami League Organising Secretary Misbah Uddin Siraj was present as the chief guest while former BCL President Bahadur Bepari was the key speaker. Among others, Sylhet city unit president of AL and former mayor of Sylhet City Corporation Bador Uddin Ahmed Quamran, district AL vice-president Ashfak Ahmed and general secretary Shafiqur Rahman Chowdhury and city AL general secretary Asad Uddin Ahmed also spoke on the occasion.
