Sohana Saba performs in item song for TV play

Lustrous model-actress Sohana Saba--who always aims to present herself with much variety in all unique characters may it be in a tele-drama, telefilm or a film--has performed in an item song this time around. In the item song, she entertained a group of criminals of the underworld dancing with the song titled Danakata Pori. Interestingly, she performed in this item song not for any film, rather it is for a tele-drama. The tele-drama titled O-Prem will be aired on the Valentines Day next year.
The tele-drama is written by Kingkar Ahsan and directed by Mahmud Didar. The shooting of the tele-drama started from October 15 and a few scenes of the venture have already been filmed in the Priyanka Shooting house besides the capitals Moghbazar rail line and slum area.
In the tele-drama, Saba will appear as Lisa, a gangster in the underworld. One time, after coming to the city with another gangster named Zahir, she turned a top terror. The role Zahir has been played by Shafiq Sadeki, while the leader of the underworld is played by brilliant actor Shatabdi Wadud.
Saba said about acting in the tele-drama, Coming out of a traditional love story, the tele-drama portrays the love of two persons from the dark world. The story is exciting enough. I have not only danced in the tele-drama, but also had to handle firearms for the demand of my character.
On the other hand, actress Tasnia Rahman will be seen appearing in the role of a dancer. The tele-drama will be aired on Dipto TV on Valentines Day next year.
To note, the very item number, which has been performed by Saba in the tele-drama, was used in a film recently, where popular heroine Pori Moni stunned the viewers with her bold avatar.
