Kushtia: Police recovered the body of a school teacher from the outdoor department of Kushtia General Hospital in the district town yesterday morning, reports UNB.
The deceased was identified as Nur Tipu, 50, a resident of Gopalpur village and an assistant teacher of Barkhada High School in the district town.
Quoting family sources, OC of Kushtia Model Police Station Sahabuddin Chowdhury said Nur left the house and went to the district town on Tuesday night following a phone call from an unidentified man. Several hours later, Nur’s wife gave him a phone call, but found the cell phone switched off. Nur’s body was found in front of the outdoor department of Kushtia General Hospital in the morning.
