68 arrested in capital

The law enforcement agencies in its ongoing special anti-illegal drugs drives at different parts of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) area arrested 68 people for their alleged involvement in drug abuse in last 36 hours, said a press release yesterday, reports BSS.
“Different contraband items including some 1,862 pieces of yaba tablets, 516 grams of heroin, I.98 kgs of cannabis (ganja), 1,883 pieces of Buprenorphine injections and 220 bottles of phensidyl were seized from them,” the release added.
