SYLHET: Police arrested a man along with three rounds of bullets from Dhopadighirpar in Sylhet city on Tuesday night on charge of assaulting a man, reports UNB.
The arrestee was identified as Abdul Hakim, managing director of Metro International Hotel.
Officer-in-charge of Kotwali Police Station Nurul Huda said Monir, son of Anfar Ullah, a resident of Sadar upazila in Habiganj district, filed a case against Hakim on September 20 last. On Tuesday morning, a team of police conducted a raid at the hotel and arrested Hakim around 10pm. The law enforcers also recovered three rounds of bullets after searching his bag.
