One killed as train knocks down him

GAZIPUR: A train yesterday knocked down a youth aged about 30 while walking through the rail line in Mirergaon area in the city yesterday noon, reports BSS.
Identity of the deceased could not be known.
A Nilphamari-bound passenger train Nilsagor from Dhaka knocked him down while he was walking on the rail track at about 2 pm. He died on the spot, said Dadon Miah, ASI of Joydebpur railway police camp.
Police recovered the body and sent it to Dhaka medical College Hospital morgue.
