Janata League leader succumbs to injuries

 A Naraganganj-based leader of Awami Janata League, who suffered injuries in an attack by miscreants on Tuesday night, succumbed to his injuries at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) on Wednesday morning, reports UNB.
Sub-inspector Bacchu Miah, in-charge of DMCH police camp, said a gang of miscreants attacked Sheikh Swadhin Monir, president of Fatullah thana unit of Awami Janata League in Narayanganj, at Fatullah around 8pm on Tuesday while he was returning home.
At one stage, the attackers stabbed Monir indiscriminately, leaving him seriously injured.
Monir was admitted to DMCH where he succumbed to his injures around 6am on Wednesday.
