�Drug peddler� arrested in N�ganj

Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-11 in a drive nabbed an alleged drug peddler along with one thousand five hundred and ninety yaba tablets from Jangir area of Rupganj upazila on Saturday noon.
The arrested drug peddlers were identified as Md Sohel Rana, 24, son of late Suruj Mia, resident of Modhukhali village of Rupganj upazila.
RAB sources claimed that the arrestee was notorious drug peddler in Rupganj area and were wanted in some narcotics related cases.
Assistant superintendent of police Md Alepuddin lead the raid on Saturday noon and held drug peddler with narcotics, RAB said.
A case was filed with Rupganj police station in this connection.
