The anti-crime elite force Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) during an overnight raid arrested three people for their alleged involvement in connection with the killing Mohammad Ali Hossain Malek, a retired professor of Eden Mohila College, murder in the capital.
Commanding Officer (CO) of RAB-4 additional DIG Lutfor Kabir told that they were arrested from Dhaka and Barisal.
They arrestees were identified as Masud Mollik, Syed Fakir and Sujon Miah.
Getting secrete information, a team of RAB-4 first arrested Masud Mollik from the capital. Following his confessional statement, the two other killers were arrested from Basura village of Gouranadi upazila in Barisal.
Prof Ali, 65, was a former teacher of Zoology department of the college. He was stabbed to death at his office in capital's Old DOHS under Vasantek Police station on October 11 this year.
