61 arrested in Jhenidah

Jhenidah: Police arrested 61 people, including six activists of Jamaat-e-Islami and Islami Chhatra Shibir, in a special drive from different parts of the district yesterday, reports UNB.
Additional superintendent of Police Azbahar Ali Sheikh said police conducted a drive in different places of six upazilas in the district from Saturday night to Sunday morning and arrested them on various charges.
Among the arrestees, there were five Jamaat men and one Shibir activist, he added.
