Frankfurt extend Bayern’s winless run

AFP, BERLIN: Bayern Munich coach Carlo Ancelotti has slammed Bundesliga leaders Bayern Munich’s ‘bad attitude’ after Saturday’s 2-2 draw at ten-man Eintracht Frankfurt leaves them without a win in three games.
After last month’s 1-0 Champions League defeat at Atletico Madrid and their 1-1 league draw with Cologne before the international break, this was neither the performance nor the result coach Ancelotti wanted.
“We didn’t play well and showed a bad attitude,” fumed the Bayern boss.
“We were asleep for the first 45 minutes, which is too much in any game.
“I have to change that, I want to see my team (play). I’ll have to think about changes.”
Despite the draw, Bayern maintain a two-point lead in the Bundesliga ahead of Wednesday’s key Champions League game at home to PSV Eindhoven.
Bayern’s Arjen Robben and Frankfurt’s Szabolcs Huszti both scored first-half goals.
After Germany international Joshua Kimmich put Bayern ahead, Frankfurt had Huszti sent off, but Mexico midfielder Marco Fabian scored their crucial second equaliser 12 minutes from time.
Ancelotti started with striker Robert Lewandowski on the bench in Frankfurt as it emerged winger Franck Ribery is out for the next three weeks with a fresh injury. 
Robben cut back inside and fired a superb shot at a tight angle past Frankfurt’s Finland goalkeeper Lukas Hradecky with just 10 minutes gone.
Bayern lived dangerously, despite dominating possession.
With 15 minutes gone, Frankfurt’s Timothy Chandler hit the inside post, then Alexander Meier’s bullet-header was saved by Bayern’s Germany goalkeeper Manuel Neuer.
Huszti put Frankfurt level just before the break when the midfielder took advantage of a lucky bounce to get behind the Bayern defence and slot home on 43 minutes.
It was Frankfurt’s first goal against Bayern since 2011.
Kimmich put Bayern ahead when he got on the end of Hummels’ pass and netted on 62 minutes for his sixth goal in his last seven games for his club. To add insult to injury, Eintracht were reduced to ten men for the last 25 minutes when Huszti was shown a red card for a second bookable offence.
But Frankfurt hit back and when US international Chandler swung in a shot, Fabian chested the ball into the empty net.
