Mohammedan Sporting Club (MSC) urged all the members of Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) to quit the federation for sinking the country’s football at international level. The recent shocking 3-1 defeat at the hands of Bhutan in the AFC Cup has opened a shameful chapter in the history of country’s football. Incidentally it was Bangladesh’s first defeat to Bhutan, a FIFA low ranking team, in international football.
MSC labeled the current BFF committee as corrupted and said, “It had spent crore of Taka in name of development of football. But failed miserably to bring any positive result for football.”
Meanwhile, an organisation, under the banner of Bangladesh Football Supporters Forum oganised a demonstration in front of the BFF office yesterday as they brought a number of complaints against the BFF in their 25-point written demand.
They drew attention of the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and requested her to give a special attention to the failures of the current Bangladesh national football team as well as the football federation.
