Body recovered in C’nawabganj

Police of Chapainawabganj Sadar thana recovered the unidentified body from Powel village in Jhilim union of Chapainawabganj sadar upazila on Monday afternoon. Officer-in-charge (OC) of Chapainawabganj sadar thana Mazharul Islam said, it is suspected that the person was electrocuted as he was trying to steal a transformer of Barind Multipurpose Development Authority (BMDA) on Sunday night.Being informed police recovered the body at 12.45 pm and sent it to the Chapainawabganj sadar hospital morgue for autopsy. An unnatural death (UD) case was filed in this connection.
