EC bosses receive smart NIDs

Chief Election Commissioner Kazi Rakibuddin Ahmad and four election commissioners received smart national identity cards yesterday, eight days after the Election Commission started the distribution of the much-awaited machine-readable cards, reports UNB.
Director General of National Identity Registration Wing of the Election Commission brigadier general Sultanuzzaman Md Salahuddin handed over the smart NID cards to the CEC and four commissioners --Mohammad Abdul Mobarak, Abu Hafiz, Brig Gen (retd) Zabed Ali and Shah Nawaz.
