‘Robber’ killed in Laxmipur ‘gunfight’

An alleged robber was killed in a gunfight with police in Uttar Koroya area of Raipur upazila early yesterday, reports UNB. The deceased was identified as Delwar Hossain Rajon, son of late Syed Ahmmed. He is accused in three arms and eight robbery cases.
Md Lokman Hossain, officer-in-charge of Raipur Police Station, said police arrested listed robber Rajon from the area early Sunday. Later, police conducted a drive with Rajon in the area around 4am on Monday. Sensing the presence of police, his cohorts opened fire at them.
