Two held with 1,200 Yaba

RANGPUR: The Detective Branch (DB) of police arrested two drug traders with 1,200 pieces of Yaba tablets from T & T Road area in Lalmonirhat district town yesterday, reports BSS.
The arrested are Didarul Islam, 28, of Zamurki village under Mirjapur upazila of Tangail and Abul Kalam, 50, of North Zamurki village under Patia upazila of Chittagong district.
Acting on a tip off, a team of detectives led by Sub-inspector Mizan conducted a raid in the area and arrested the two drug traders with the contraband Yaba tablets packed in a bag.
Later, the DB police handed over the duo to Lalmonirhat Sadar police after filing a case against them yesterday afternoon.
