My expectation is really high about Swapnabari: Mamo
Zakia Bari Mamo
With her third film Chhuye Dile Mon, Lux superstar Zakia Bari Mamowho won the National Film Award for her debut film Daruchini Dwipis quite successful. Mamo is now busy with her fourth film Swapnabari, which has been directed by Tanim Rahman Aungshu. The shooting of the film is currently underway in the capitals Hatirjheel area. DhakaLives Nazir Hossain revealed more about Mamos new film through an interview with the actress recently.
Tell us about your new film Swapnabari
Mamo: This is my first film with director Tanim Rahman Aungshu. Popular actor Anisur Rahman Milon is acting opposite me. The film has a wonderful story, which I believe will be liked by the viewers from all walks of life.
What is the story of the film about?
Mamo: The film has a mysterious story. A couple rents a house. Then, various types of unusual incidents start taking place in the house. There is a secrecy, hidden behind it. Finally, a few true facts are revealed from the couple at the moment when they encounter death. With a story like this, the film is being produced.
How was viewers feedback to your previous film with Milon?
Mamo: With Anisur Rahman Milon, my previous film Prem Korbo Tomar Sathe was released in 2013. It was a film with a different flavour for a different group of viewers. More precisely, it was completely a FDC-based film. It was not only the film of me and Milon, the film also included another hero. The feedback I received for the film was satisfactory.
How did the viewers react to film Chhuye Dile Mon?
Mamo: I myself should not comment about my own film. If I say anything positive, then people will think I am beating my own drums. Rather, lets hear from the audience. The viewers reaction towards the film was really amazing. Till now, I regularly receive messages in Facebook and Viber about the film. The viewers want to watch this type of film again. They request me to do this type of film more.
What is your expectation about your current film?
Mamo: My expectation is really high about Swapnabari. I believe Tanim Rahman Aungshu will certainly make a wonderful film. Moreover, a brilliant actor like Anisur Rahman Milon is my co-artiste. The pattern of the films story is different. Todays youth or middle class audience want to watch a film with a unique story. If they find a story which is not a traditional one, they get impressed after watching the film. From that point of view, the film has a wonderful story to please the viewers. Overall, I am hopeful about the film.
