Derailment snaps Noakhali rail link

Train communication on Noakhali-Laksham route was suspended as four wheels of a bogey derailed at Ganipur near Choumohoni Rail Station in Begumganj upazila yesterday, reports UNB from Noakhali. Fakhrul Islam Noman, Noakhali station master said four wheels of a Noakhali-bound community train from Comilla veered off the tracks around 5 pm, halting train communications of Noakhali-Laksham route. However, no one was injured in the incident. A relief train from Laksham left for the station to salvage the train.
