Second ODI tit-bits

Mashrafe’s different 50
Mashrafe Bin Mortaza struck three sixes in the match in his 29 ball-44. By doing so, he entered into the club of 50 sixes as the third Bangladeshi player after Tamim Iqbal and Mushfiqur Rahim. He first six off Adil Rashid in the match was his 50th six.
He added two more sixes to take his tally to 52. Tamim has 64 while Mushfiqur Rahim has 53 sixes.
Mushfiqur Rahim’s 4000 finally
The wait was finally over though it was longer than expectation. While he was expected to achieve the feat of scoring 4000 ODI runs as the third Bangladeshi batsman after Tamim Iqbal and Shakib Al Hasan, the, Mushfiqur Rahim went through a painful phase.
He started the series against Afghanistan with 3920 runs but scored just 56 runs in three matches to be stuck at 3976.
And the bad patch lingered with him in the first match against England too as he scored just 12.
The dismissal on little score was no matter but the manner in which he got out every time was disappointing. In the last four matches he got out trying to slog-sweep, a shot that led his dismissal and let the team down against India during the World T20.
Thankfully he didn’t get out by playing the same shot in second game but prolonged his bad patch by being out on 21.
The way England got two openers
England bowlers comprehensively out-thought not one but two Bangladesh openers—Tamim Iqbal and Imrul Kayes. They stuck to their plan to deliver a barrage of shorts balls and became successful by removing them at the very early of the innings.
England set a trap, they just tweaking the leg-side field, Chris Woakes sent down a short ball and Imrul obliged by pull straight down Willey's throat. Woakes then got Tamim with same the delivery in his next over but it was little cutter too. He repeatedly invited Tamim to pull which he accepted helpfully spooned it straight to Moeen at shortish midwicket.
The openers left Bangladesh to a tottering 26 for two.
No 5000 for Tamim Iqbal
He was in top form and there was expectation that Tamim Iqbal go past 5000 ODI runs as the first Bangladeshi batsmen in the first or second match.
But in those two games, he disappointed the crowd with being out for 17 in the first match and 14 in the second, leaving him 38 runs shy of the milestone.
Some fun for the crowd
James Vince did the initial fielding and then Billings steamed in to help tidy up, tumbled, and landed slap on Vince.
He showed fantastic effort to save a boundary as Mushfiqur Rahim took a full toss delivery of Adil Rashid in disdain that it swatted away through midwicket.
Vince slided on the boundary and attempted to flick it back but the ball hits his trailing hand and as the ball somehow was about to touch the boundary rope, he in an undying but kidding effort held the rope to prevent the ball touching the rope.
Sam Billings came up and tumbled on him but kept ball away. However it went in vain as umpire ruled it a boundary. The entire scene was funny to watch.
Mahmudullah forgets about DRS!
There is DRS in the place but Mahmudullah forgot it to take the advantage of it.
The DRS though couldn’t give him another lifeline. Umpire Aleem Dar ruled him leg-before out as he deftly paddle-sweep against leg-spinner Adil Rashid and it seemed the ball touched
his glove.
He walked straight off before he was reminded about the DRS. It's hit the inside of the front pad so looked in line. Snicko confirmed no glove involved. And he was out on 75.
