12,619 asstt teachers selected

The Education Ministry has published a list of 12,619 successful candidates for recruiting as assistant teachers to non-government educational institutions, including schools and colleges, for the first time across the country, reports UNB.
Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid published the merit list through online at the Secretariat yesterday.
The candidates will get the results through SMS on their mobile phone and they have been asked to join the work within a month.
The minister said the government has taken the initiative to appoint teachers through a central examination of Non-government Teachers' Registration and Certification Authority (NTRCA) for maintaining transparency in the recruitment process.
As per the decision, applications were sought from those who got certificates from NTRCA to sit for the examination recently.
