CHITTAGONG: Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) in a drive arrested a man with arms and ammunition beside Pahartali Railway platform under Doublemooring thana on Saturday night, reports UNB.
The arrested was identified as Mohammad Farid, 35, son of late Jafar Ahmed, hailed from Chapuri village under Patiya upazila of the district. On a tip-off, a team of the RAB conducted a raid in the area and nabbed Farid with a shooter gun and two cartridges, said Sohel Mahmud, senior assistant director of RAB-7.
