College students block highway

Students of different colleges in Gazipur city blocked Dhaka-Mymensing and Dhaka-Tangail highway yesterday demanding to restore the previous system about creative question papers in HSC examination and cancellation of additional question. 

They also formed human chain to press home their demands and staged demonstration in Joydebpur Chowrasta (Intersection)  area of Gazipur city.
Police sources said, hundreds of students from different colleges including Bhawal Badre Alam Government University College gathered at Joudebpur Chowrasta at around 11am yesterday. They formed a human chain here after blocking the two busy highways and staged demonstration. As a result, all vehicular movement suspended  for one and half hour caused a long traffic jam on both sides of the highways.  Senior Assistant Superintendent of Gazipur Traffic Police Mohammed Shakhawat Hossain said on information, police rushed to the spot and dispersed them from the highways and cleared the highways  for vehicular movement.  Students said, there were six question in the creative question paper  in previous system, but now the authority added an addition question. We want cancellation this additional question and restoration of previous system.
