Students give 2-day ultimatum

Students of several institutions of the capital, under HSC and SSC level on Sunday urged education minister to take initiatives to change the government’s move to increase the number of “creative questions” in both SSC and HSC examinations.
They also demanded to attend at the examinations with previous marks distribution.  While speaking at a press conference at Dhaka University, they made the demand.
Under the banner of “Sadharan Shikhartibrinda”, some 50 students attended at the conference in protest against seven creative questions instead of six in SSC and HSC examinations.
Speaking on the occasion Jubaidul Raihgan Sakib of Government Science College student threatened to go for tougher movement if the authority does not take initiatives to meet their demand by within Tuesday.
