Online registration for Bangladeshis interested in migrating to Australia under Work and Holiday Visa has started and will continue up to October 30, reports BSS.
"A total of 100 Bangladeshi citizens will be able to go to Australia, live and work there for a year under the visa class. The visa aspirant must be unmarried and be between the age of 18 and 30 years," deputy secretary Syeda Salma Jafrin of Ministry of Home Affairs.
The official said the Bangladeshis will get the chance to migrate under an agreement signed between the two countries and an equal number of Australians will be able to come and work in Bangladesh under the same process.
"The person interested in taking the chance should be a bachelor degree holder and must have IELTS score of 5.5 with the validity of at least next one year. The visa aspirant or his or her guardian should have at least Taka five lakh in bank account
and have to submit bank statement for six months," she said.
