Tahsan, Natasha join Canadian University 
Tahsan Rahman Khan, actor and singer has joined Canadian University of Bangladesh as brand ambassador and assistant professor, says press release. 
In addition, Ms. Natasha Hayat Khan, university teacher and actress and Solaiman Sukhon, university teacher and renowned information technology specialist also have joined as faculty. They have recently joined Canadian University of Bangladesh. 
Chowdhury Jafarullah Sharafat, vice-chairman, Board of Trustees, and Associate Prof. S. M. Arifuzzaman, Head of Business School, Canadian University of Bangladesh were present on the occasion.     

CVASU students to get internship opportunity in Malaysian varsity 

CHITTAGONG:  Chittagong Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (CVASU) students will get opportunity to do internship in different fields in a Malaysian University.
Students of the Faculty of Fisheries and Faculty of Food Science and Technology of CVASU will avail this internship opportunity for a month from University Malaysia Terengganu every year.
Similarly, the students of the Malaysian university will also get opportunity to do internship at CVASU. CVASU vice-chancellor (VC) Professor Dr Goutam Buddha Das disclosed this in a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing function with University Malaysia Terengganu at Chittagong Press Club VIP lounge this morning. In November next, students of the first batch of the Faculty of Fisheries will go to Malaysia for internship, said the VC.
CVASU VC Professor Dr Goutam Buddha Das and University Malaysia Terengganu VC Dr Nur Ayeni Haji Mukhtar inked the MoU on behalf of from their respective universities. Dean of Faculty of Fisheries Professor Dr Mohammad Nurul Absar Khan, dean of the Faculty of Food Science and Technology Professor Dr Khandakar Nurul Islam, registrar Mirza Faruk Azam, proctor Professor Goutam Kumar Debnath of CVASU, dean of School of Fisheries and Aquaculture Sciences Professor Dr. Mazlan Abd. Ghaffar, dean of School of Food Science and Technology Dr Amiza Mat Amin and Dr Md Abdul Kader of University Malaysia Terengganu, among others, were present at the programme.
