Cylinder gas blast kills 1

A hawker was killed when a cylinder gas was exploded in Banani area of the capital yesterday afternoon.

The victim was identified as Lal Miah, 41, a gas balloon hawker. 
According to the sources in Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH), the gas cylinder was exploded around 3pm when the hawker was blowing up balloons using the cylinder in a house in the area.
During the blast, Lal Miah was critically injured. Later security guards of the house rushed him to the DMCH where doctors declared him dead around 4.15pm.
The body was kept at the DMCH morgue for autopsy.
