Skeletons found in gutted factory

STAFF REPORTER

Some human skeletons were found at the gutted Tampaco foil factory yesterday.

The factory was devastated in a fire on September 10, leading to the death of at least 39 people.
In a joint operation, firemen and army personnel are now removing the debris and heavy machinery from the building. They found the bones 18 days after the blaze and sent those to Dhaka Medical College Hospital for an autopsy.
Thirty-nine people were killed and 40 injured as the fire raged through the factory in Tongi BSCIC industrial area early on September 10. Two cases were filed in connection with the blaze.
