Asian tourism fair begins Thursday

The 5th Asian Tourism Fair-2016 begins at International Convention City, Bashundhara (ICCB) here on Thursday, aiming to develop a regional tourism linkage, reports UNB.
Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister Rashed Khan Menon will inaugurate the three-day fair at 11:00 am on the day.
Parjatan Bichitra, a monthly magazine, arranged the fair in association with Bangladesh Tourism Board (BTB) and Bangladesh Parjatan Corporation (BPC).
Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited is the premium partner while news agency United News of Bangladesh (UNB) is the PR agency partner of the fair.
The authorities concerned of Parjatan Bichitra, BTB and BPC came up with the information at a press briefing over the preparations of the tourism fair at the Jatiya Press Club on Monday.
Addressing the press conference, Parjatan Bichitra editor Mohiuddin Helal said this fair will help the tourism industry of Bangladesh develop the network with the industry partners and service providers of regional countries and this achieve its tourism development goal.
