Kushtia: Police yesterday arrested six people on suspicion in connection with the Awami League factional clash over establishing supremacy at Machhpara village in Sadar upazila on Saturday morning that killed two people, reports UNB. Identities of the arrestees could not be known immediately. Officer-in-charge (Investigation) of Kushtia Model Police Station Rabiul Islam said police conducted a drive in Machhpara village from Saturday night to Sunday morning and arrested the six people. Earlier, Iman Ali and Shahabuddin were killed and 20 others injured in a clash between two groups of Awami League over establishing supremacy at the village on Saturday morning.
