Man killed in building collapse

Chuadanga: A construction worker was killed after an under-construction ceiling of a building collapsed on him in Farmpara of the district town on Saturday afternoon, reports UNB. The deceased was identified as Milon Hossain, 35, son of Abdul Haque, a resident of the area. Witnesses said the under-construction ceiling of the building of Hafizur Rahman collapsed on Milon while he was doing work under it in the afternoon, leaving him critically injured. Later he was rushed to Chuadanga Sadar Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries, said Dr Hasnat Parvej Shuvo, medical officer of Chuadanga Sadar Hospital.
