Militancy to be uprooted at any cost: RAB chief

RAB Director General (DG) Benazir Ahmed yesterday vowed to purge militancy from the country at any cost, BSS reports. "Militants would not be allowed to destroy the country. The militancy will be stamped out at any cost," he said at a fresher's reception and orientation program at South East University in Tejgaon in the capital.  "Militants are in a shamble due to continuous efforts of law enforcers," he said.
South East University VC Prof Dr AFM Mafizul Islam presided over the function addressed, among  others, by Deputy VC Prof Dr Humayun Kabir Chowdhury and registrars and deans of different faculties.
