Ashraful gets chance to play

Walton 18th National Cricket League (NCL) will get underway at four different venues across the country today.

Mohammad Ashraful will return to cricket with the NCL after three and a half years hiatus. He was suspended from domestic and international cricket so long period for the spot and match fixing scam in Bangladesh Premier League (BPL). His domestic ban has been lifted last August but international ban will be lifted in 2018. The youngest centurion will get down in the field for Dhaka Metro, at the Shaheed Chandu Stadium in Bogra.
Ashraful is very delighted to back in domestic cricket again and seeks to give many more good innings for his fans, supporters and well-wishers. 
“I love cricket enormously. I hope I could be able to finish my cricket career in right manner to return to cricket again. I will try to give so many good innings for the love of the fans, supporters and well-wishes. I first want to prove me by playing good cricket in domestic cricket and then try to back in international cricket,” said Mohammad Ashraful.
“I have been playing cricket since 20 years. It is tough to continue so long. It is a big challenge. I am coming back after a long lull. So I want to take the challenge and play 10 more years,” Ashraful told The Independent.
