Worker stabbed dead in city

A welding factory worker was stabbed to death by miscreants in the capital’s Jatrabari area yesterday, reports UNB.
The deceased was identified as Mohammad Akbar Hossain, 20, worker of a local welding factory and a resident of Sutikhalpar in Jatrabari.
A group of 10-12 miscreants, including Riazul and Amran, swooped on Akbar at Sutikhalpar around 8:15pm over previous enmity, said victim’s friends Hridoy and Sujon who brought him to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH).
The attackers beat him indiscriminately and at one stage, one of them stabbed him with a knife in his chest.
