Professor Dr M Habibur Rahman has been appointed as chairman of Dhaka WASA Board, says a press release.
He is an internationally recognised expert on water.
Professor Rahman was Pro-Vice-Chancellor of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), the statement added.
