AG lauds achievement in ICT sector

Attorney General Mahbubey Alam yesterday lauded Bangladesh's achievement in information and communication technology (ICT) sector, reports BSS.
Alam, , who returned home Monday night after attending 19th conference of the Asia/Pacific Group on Money Laundering (APG) in the US, said now the world community too is praising Bangladesh's role in this sector, especially in conducting cases in tackling money laundering. "Bangladesh's development in two indexes of APG inter-country legal assistance and intelligence surveillance regarding money laundering has also satisfied all," the attorney general said. The chief law officer of the state came up with the observations while exchanging views with the media regarding his recent visit to the US.
