3 electrocuted in N’ganj

NARAYANGANJ: Three people including a woman and her daughter died from electrocution while taking a bath in the Dhaleshwari River at Shubhokardi in Bandar upazila yesterday, reports UNB.
The deceased were identified as Krishna Rani, 30, her daughter Shanti Rani, 4 and Masud, 35. Police said the trio received electric shocks while taking a bath in the river as a live electric wire snapped into the water while electricity wires were being installed in the area around 11:45 am, leaving them both dead on the spot.
