AL MP Rana shifted to Kashimpur jail

Ruling party lawmaker of Tangail-3 constituency (Ghatail) Amanur Rahman Khan Rana prime accused of Freedom Fighter and Awami League leader Faruk Ahmed murder case has been shifted to Kashimpur Central Jail-1 in Gazipur from Tangail Jail yesterday. Super of the Tangail jail Ritesh Chakma told The Independent that Rana was shifted to Kashimpur jail amid tight security. Earlier, a Tangail court on Sunday sent MP Amanur Rahman Rana to jail rejecting his bail prayer in the Faruk murder case. Additional District and Session’s Judge Abul Mansur Miah passed the order when Rana, surrendered before his court seeking bail.
