Anti-militancy meeting held

BOGRA: An anti-militancy meeting was held at the conference room of the Deputy Commissioner of the district on Sunday, reports BSS.
Sufia Nazim, ADC (general), presided over the meeting. Deputy Commissioner Asraf Uddin was present as the chief guest. District police super Asaduzzaman, civil surgeon Dr Odandu Deb, district Awami league president Momotaz Uddin, district council administrator Dr Md Mokbul Hossain, Bogra press club president Jahedur Rahman among others, spoke.
The speakers urged the people to forge a united social movement against terrorism and militancy in the district.
Teachers, students and people from all walks of life took part in the meeting.
