Chapainawabganj: Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) recovered one pistol, one magazine and one round of bullet from Adina College area in Shibganj upazila yesterday morning, reports UNB.
However, no one was arrested in the incident.
Lt Col SM Abul Ahsan, commander of Chapainawabganj BGB battalion-9, said tipped off, a team of the border force challenged a man for his suspicious movement in the area at about 7.00am.
Sensing danger, he fled the scene leaving a bag. Later, BGB members recovered one pistol, one magazine and one round of bullet from the bag.
