Team BJMC tasted their first win in the JB Bangladesh Premier Division Football League when they came from a goal down to defeat Uttar Baridhara by 2-1 at the Bangabandhu National Stadium in the capital yesterday.
Mazharul Islam Saurav stunned BJMC in the very 10th minute sending Uttar Baridhara into lead when he slammed home his header into far post (1-0).
But the favourites hit back quickly with equalising the margin just two minute latter through Samson Illiasu when a nice header of the Nigerian playmaker found the net (1-1).
BJMC getting rid of the successive threats, took the lead on 40th minute with Illiasu struck the second sending ball into net receiving a Mamun’s cross on 40th minute.
