Bangladesh to send teams in five disciplines

A 29-member Bangladesh team will participate in the 5th Asian Beach Games to be held in Da Nang ,Vietnam,  from September 24 to October 3.

Bangladesh Olympic Association (BOA) has decided to send team in five disciplines. A 12 member (10 players and two officials) team will represent in the handball event. Kabaddi team has seven member ( six players and one official), lone competitor to battle in the athletics and an official will accompany him. Five member (four players and one official) will play in the 3X3 basketball and three member (two players and one official)  in volleyball.
Kabaddi and athletics squad will leave Dhaka for Vietnam today. Handball and volleyball will depart on September 22 and basketball will be the last team to leave for Da Nang on September 23.
Bangladesh Basketball Federation president  Dr Mostafa Jalal Mohiuddin will act as the leader of the team.
