BFF hopes U-16 girls to reach ultimate goal

Bangladesh Under-16 women football team’s booters were accorded a grand reception at the Hotel Pan Pacific Sonargaon in the capital by the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) yesterday when the players also got some recognition for their big achievement of making a room among the top eight Asian (women) football nations. 

Some of the corporate houses also gave monetary rewards for the outstanding feat of the teenage booters with SAIF Global Sports Taka 50,000, Gemcon Tk 50,000, Cald Well Tk 50,000 for each player while SS Solution will provide a monthly allowance for each member of the team for one year up to the final phase of AFC Under -16 Championship.
Besides the president of the BFF, Kazi Mohammed Salahudddin and the executive members, managing director of the SS Solution Kazi Saraji, chairman of the SAIF Global Sports Tarafdar Ruhul Amin, Khairul Mazid, Managing Director of the Cald Well, Kazi Enam Ahmed, director of the Gemcon Group, chairman of the BFF Women’s wing Mahfuza Akhter Kiron also addressed on the occasion.
Salahuddin, while applauding the girls said, “We are proud of you, because you brought us to another height making room among the top of the Asian soccer powerhouses. You are the main attraction of the today’s function, hope you will give us the opportunity to organise such occasions in future.” 
“You make the nation proud but now the responsibly are more on your shoulders to keep up the feat. Now to play is not only for joy, it is no more armature for you, now you will have to play more better game  to win and achieve more.”
“Now you are only 16, you will have to go long way and it is the time to build yourself for the greater level,” Salahuddin added.
The BFF boss also thanked the corporate houses for coming forward to encourage the players providing financial support. 
Mahfuza Akhter Kiron was overwhelmed and became emotion, as tears rolled down when she was addressing the gathering, the women’s wing chairman said, “After qualifying in the final round, their expectation became more high, as they want to qualify for the Women’s Under-17 World Cup.”
