Bangladesh pace prodigy Mustafizur Rahman will kickstart his main rehabilitation procedures to return in actions within the next two days. BCB chief physician already gave the responsibility to physiotharapists- Baizidul Islam and Mario Villavarayen-to start the process.
The duo will determine the next schedule how they will launch the rehab of Fizz. In this regard, Mustafiz himself said that Mario and Baizid bhai will inform me. "Surgeon saw me after the surgical treatment. Thereafter, six weeks have been passed after the operation. The way the surgeon told me to do my exercise I have done.
Everything is going on well," said Mustafizur. "The main rehab will begin within one-two days. Both Mario and Baizid bhai are involved in the process. They will inform me to fix the process," Rahman told reporters. The pacer obviously missed the back-to-back series against Afghanistan and England. But he did not feel more worse for it.
"I was in games after breaking into the national fold. Now I could not play. I of course miss the games. But I am giving my supports to my teammates from the outside," the pace spearhead told in response to a question. He said that he is mentally prepared to continue his rehab.
"I have passed such type of times while I was U-19 player. So It is not new thing for me but at this level it is first time," Satkhira-born lad said. He is expected to back in the team prior to the next away tour of New Zealand. "I am sick at this moment. My desire to play in that series after being healed completely," the 22-year-old lad said.
"I succeeded in the country. I will also try to be succeeded in abroad," he also said. Mustafiz sustained Grade-2 injury to play the English County Cricket for Sussex after the second match. Therefore, he had undergone operation by distinguished English shoulder surgeon Andrew Wallace and return home from London on August 22, a week later being released from Bupa Cromwell Hospital.
