Prize Giving Ceremony of Power Presenter Held at EWU
In order to provide a unique opportunity for students to develop and demonstrate their presentation skills, East West University Business Club (EWUBC) recently organised an inter-department presentation competition titled, Power Presenter 2015 at its own campus, says a press release.
The aim of this event was to encourage competitive minds to challenge themselves and bring out the best in them by putting through a rigorous contest comprising multiple rounds and evaluation by both internal and external judges. The competition included three sequential rounds.
The day gave a warm end to the event with the gracious presence of Dr. Mohammed Farashuddin, Chairperson, Board of Trustees, East West University, Professor Ahmed Shafee, Vice Chancellor; East West University, Professor Tanbir Ahmed Chowdhury, Dean, Faculty of Business and Economics and Chairperson, Department of Business Administration, East West University. Zulfikar Hyder, HR Director, Coats Bangladesh, was the keynote speaker of this programme. EWUBC moderators, faculty members, participants and the students were present at the event. Winners of the Power Presenter were declared and awarded by the guests.
After all the hurdles and evaluation Team Avengers from Business Administration Department became the Champion Power Presenter. First and Second runners up were respectively Team Pencils from Business Administration Department and Team Pharma Phoenix from Pharmacy Department. S. M. Ashiqur Rahman from Business Administration Department was awarded the Best Presenter trophy.
