Jamaat man arrested

Satkhira: Police arrested an activist of Jamaat-e-Islami from Kurikaunia village in Ashashuni upazila of the district yesterday morning, reports UNB.
The arrestee was identified as Maulana Yeahia, a resident of the area. Officer-in-Charge of Ashashuni police station Ajmal Huda said on a tip-off, a team of police conducted a drive in the area and arrested Yeahia in the morning. Yeahia was held on charges of murder and subversive activities, the OC said.
