RANGPUR: The recreational and entertainment spots of the divisional city and its adjoining areas have been witnessing huge rush from the last three days to enjoy the happy occasion of Eid-ul-Azha festivity, reports BSS.
Tens of hundreds of the enthusiastic people of all ages in festive mood were seen visiting the recreational and entertainment spots amid joy and enthusiasm making the spots overcrowded since the Eid day.
The people mainly rushed to ‘Proyas’ Entertainment Park on the Ghaghot riverbank, Chikley Lake, Rangpur Zoo, Surovi Uddyan, ‘Vinnojagat’, Fantasy Zone, Teesta Road Bridge point, Mahiupur Ghat on the Teesta riverbank and other recreational spots to enjoy their festivities.
All these recreational and entertainment spots of the divisional city and its adjoining areas were decorated with new look and amusement flavour to attract more visitors and become packed to the full capacity.
Hundreds of the children with their parents, young boys, girls, students and youths wearing colorful dresses gathered in these places where small temporary shops were set up to sell different foods and toys.
Authorities of Rangpur City Corporation and different recreation centres informed that huge number of people was still coming for passing time and sharing joys of Eid-ul-Azha festivity.
Talking to BSS, university and college students Mollika, Shantona, Tahmina, Alfaz, Marufa and Farzana while visiting ‘Proyas’, Chikley Lake and Rangpur Zoo said they were excited to really enjoy the beauty at those recreational spots.
