Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid yesterday said quality education could attract more foreign students from different countries, reports BSS. “Some private universities are trying their best to ensure and improve the quality of education. So, a large number of foreign students are coming to study here”, the minister said when a delegate from Daffodil International University (DIU) met him at his secretariat office.
Nahid said more students would come to Bangladesh if the standard of education improved further. The minister appreciated the DIU’s efforts to offer quality education in a large green permanent campus with proper facilities for students, according to DIU press release.
He expressed the hope that the facilities of the university would be able to draw attention of more foreign students and produce skilled manpower. The delegation, led by its Board of Trustees Chairman M Sabur Khan,
apprised the education minister that around 250 foreign students are studying at Daffodil International University.
